The Senior Web Application Developer position reports through the Software Development group within MIAC as it relates to development practices, technical approach, and general development priorities. However, the position will be functionally managed as part of a cross-functional team led by the business sponsors for each specific development project assigned to this person.

Position Responsibilities

  • Work as part of a distributed, collaborative & innovative team
  • Develop enterprise-class web applications and maintain installation, configuration, and support of web services
  • Understand and lead an Agile SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
  • Solve any technical troubleshooting capabilities
  • Develop partnerships and collaborate with other developers, designers, and clients to field an integrated, web-based application
Desired Qualifications:

The candidate should have a working knowledge of a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures including:

  • C#.NET, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3
  • MVC, Web API
  • AngularJS, .NET Core
  • RESTful web services, WCF
  • Web security
  • Strong SQL Skills
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies a plus
  • Integration of cloud computing/database
  • Amazon Web Service
  • Azure
  • 8+ years industry experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
